Hello! My name is Mrs. Belmont
I have been teaching at St. Paul of the Cross School, since 2017. I have been in the education sector for 22 years. After College, I started working at the university level in the departments of student services, admissions, and student learning. I have taught at the junior high and elementary levels within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Schools. I believe God led me to Catholic school teaching to help guide our children in following Jesus’ way of love. I enjoy teaching because I get to nurture curious young minds. I believe it is important to embrace students’ unique personalities and learning abilities. I encourage students to create a support system within the classroom, by creating a learning environment where it is safe to make mistakes. For me, teaching is being part of my students learning and spiritual journey and helping them develop the skills needed for their future.
